How to enjoy music life

        Music is one way of healings.  Maybe no one hates music.  It means that music is necessary for our lives, but most of poeple lose with their ignorance.  In the world, there are many kinds of music.  Many people listen to favorite music and they are satisfied with only it.  People should try to listen to many kinds of music because of less personality in music and people can not appreciate other styles of music.  Too much emphasis is placed on J-pop in Japan and not enough cariety of music genres are given equal oppotunity to be hard by Japanese listeners.  Therefore, three ways of broadening understanding of music to Japanese listeners are by searching for new music themselves, listening to friends’ opinions on music, and promoting more foreign music.

        The most important thing people should do is to to look for new music genre themselves.  Now, there are many ways of finding music.  They should do net-surfing to search music.  You-tube and myspace are the good ways to listen music easily.  We can listen to music for nothing through these sources.  People can also go to CD shop and see shop’s recommend.  Recommended CDs are good to enter to new genre because they are popular CDs in the genres.  Then, it is also good to buy CDs judging from just jackets which draw you.  If the CDs are good, it please you so much.

        It is also important that people listen to friends’ favorite music genre.  People near you are good people who you can listen to their opinion at ease.  If their favorite music are same, you can talk about the music so much and recommend CDs each other.  They offer the CDs you don’t know or you want to listen.  They can deepen the understanding of the genre each other.  If favorite music are different from them, it is the chance of new discover for you.  You should listen to the music and judge them.  You should treasure the feeling of listening to new genre.  It widens your idea of music.

        It is a good way that people promote more foreign music.  They should not focus on only Japanese music.  There are so many music in the world that we have unlimited choices.  If you find new favorite genre and want to listen to it more, we should search same genre’s minor music.  For example, we should read magazine, liner notes, and isssues through the Internet.  These articles gives us more music and sometimes these shows some connections between some groups.  Minor genre’s member tend to belong to some groups.  You may find a famous guitarist in the other minor band as a drumer.

        Music should be more raised and treasured because people need it so much.  Music is nearby their lives like eating, sleeping, and working.  We can relax better and get our ideas wider through researching music by themselves.  Of course, Japanese should also enjoy their music lives more.  They can solve this problem through the steps I showed.  Learning music is not hard at all, so they can do it easily when you are free.  Widening understanding of music leads widening capacity of ourselves.  Let’s enjoy your music lives.

The effects of earthquakes

        It is said that Japan is the country which earthquakes often happen more than other country.  I also experienced them several times.  Especially, the great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake of 1995 which killed more than 6000 people is the scaryest earthquake that I experienced.  A few weeks ago, big earthquake was happened in Miyagi which kills 12 people now.  Earthquake is very scary disaster, because we don’t realize when it happens and secondary disaster may happen.  People who have never experienced big earthquakes should also know that there are several main effects for the earthquakes.

        The biggest effect is that many people die.  Earthquake causes buildings falling and fire.  People are crushed by furnitureand their home, and burnt to death by fire.  Even if people are alive between furniture, they can’t move and are crushed or starve to death.  Rescue team can’t make some action and that is why unstable steps, aftershock, and collapsed buildings are vry dangerous.  Due to the danger, there are many lives lost even if people alive after earthquake.

        People who are alive after a huge earthquake need lifeline.  Many buildings arecollapsed so they can’t cook enough.  As a result of the earthquake, water supply may be cut off.  They depend on a relief operation, but they can’t be satisfied with them completely because of too much demand.  Those who can’t live in their home live in the gym of a school.  These poor lives are very hard, especially for the elderly.  This life style may lead people to death; therefore they want some helps.

        Overcoming earthquake, some people can’t wipe away the fear for a long time.  Great earthquakes stay in our hearts.  Consequently, the fear reminds as a trauma in some people’s hearts.  Since the fear is very strong, they are frightened by even small earthquakes.  There are some people who can’t recover from the grief of family or friends’ death.  They cam’t spend sound days easily.

        These examples make you notice the terror of the natural disaster of earthquakes.  We can’t sniff when earthquakes come, so we can’t escape from this terror, but there are some measures.  We should save water and foods for emergency, and change the layout of furniture to decrease damages to the minimum.  Forewarned is forearmed.  People should recognize the serious problem of earthquake if they live in Japan.

My favorite hevay metal

        Today, there are a lot of music genre in the world, so we all find our favorite music easily.  Surely, we find and listen to our favorite music till death.  Of all others, rock music has so many styles, for example, pop rock, punk, heacy metal, and so on.  One famous writer said, “Rock is dead, nothing is new.”  There are so many rock music fan, but heavy music is very minor music.  Now, let’s focus on heavy metal.  In fact, heavy metal has more than twenty styles. Generally speaking, heavy metal has some differences in Europe and the US.  Both metal have great fascination for me, but I end up being European metal fan after I contrast differences: music style, background, and diversity.

        First, the most characteristic difference is each music style.  European metal is generally melodic but American metal is dark and heavy, and has catchy vocal melody.  It shows what they focus on.  It is famous that there are many technical player in Euroope so there are many famous guitarists.  In contrast to European metal, American metal treasure the balance of the band.  You can find these difference clearly if you listen to them.  Both is good feature. 

        Second, It is important that their background make some effects on their music.  Famous countries of European metal are Sweden, Finland, Norway, and so on.  Most of them are cold places.  We can feel cold and melanchory atmosphere in their music.  On the other hand, history is important in the US.  Their way of thinking is that I want to be top of the world.  They must be loved by so many people to be the top.  It gives some effects on American.  We can see it in their tunes.

        Third, the variety of the styles is different each other.  In Europe, so many metal style are on main stream.  For example, melodic speed metal, melodic death metal, viking metal, progressive metal and so on.  Unlike in Europe, thrash metal and nu metal are on main stream in the US.  We can’t find cool bands in other style in the US.  European seems that htey do what they want to do even if they can’t earn so much money, though American seems that they do what listeners like earning so-so money.  This is also interesting difference.

        Finally, I like both heavy metal.  Both has each feature.  Howeber, I like melancholy melody very much and the attitude of doing what they like from bottom of the heart.  If I choose one, I’m going to choose European metal, but remember, both metal are so cool!!

Serious effects behind convenience of modern technology

        The modern technology has been suddenly developing in this decade.  We can do anything through the technology now.  It is no exaggeration to say that the technology changed our life style completely.  The convenience of the technology makes some efects on our life style and society.  The technology makes us possible to research any information we want and to buy anything anytime and anywhere.  Now, do you think the technology gives ys only many good effects?  The evolution of the technology over 10 years has had negative effects on people’s lives: socially, mentaly, and economically.

        First, the most important effect is that the modern technology had brought negative effects with its convenience, so our socety is affected  People don’t go out often as before.  In front of PC or cell phone, we just sit on the chair without speaking for a long time.  Now people do less face to face communication than before.  Even if we did e-mail communication so much, the skill of communication goes down, because to treasure and to read people’s idea is very important in communication.  We can’t do that only sentences.  We need words, behaviour, and facial expression in communication.  Less communication skill collapses our society.

        Secondly, it is very important effect that modern technology makes our health worse unconsciously.  Modern technology shuts people into their home, so people do exercise less than before.  Then people are absorbed in the Internet or cell phone until late night.  They get up late morning because of lack of sleep.  Once they get sed to doing this bad circulation, they can’t go bac to healty life easily.  Our ealth are undermined by the environmet with modern technology.

        Thirdly, it is important that people lack the value of products and money through the technology.  We can buy anything we want through the Internet.  It is convenience, but people lose the important thing through convenience.  For example, we can download music in less money than buying CDs.  But if they download, there are no case, lyric, and picture.  Musicians release their CDs with confidence in all materials.  It means that musicians want listeners to see all aspects of the CD.  This way of thinking refer to not only musicians but also all producers.  Now, auction is easy way of buying something because people just click in reasonable price, but this easy way leads people wasting money because this way causes impulse buying.  Modern technology blinds the importance of merchandise and money.

        Surely, the society with modern technology is very useful for us, but whenever something new happens, we should read its essence enough.  We human being have more great things than computers.  Of course, we should use them anytime we want, but we don’t permit technology to destruct our feelings.  After all, the most important thing is human nature for us, though modern technology is one of the greatest invention.  If you continue silly life from now on, your future isn’t guaranteed.  After understanding such a serious future, do you goes on your life to be moved by technology?

My Golden Week

        In this Golden Week, I play with my friend.  On May 3rd, I went to my friends home.  I haven’t seen him so long time.  He was married during this long time that we haven’t seen.  I know his wife, too.  They look happy!!  I thougt marriage is very good turning point.  In their home, we did mahjong all day long.  We enjoyed mahjong and talking so much.  On May 5th, I played live show with my band member in Kyoto.  My band is so young.  This live show is the second time for us.  We are thrash metal band!!  I was nervous before we play.  But it doesn’t matter after beginning our live show.  I just play crazy, and enjoy.  Our show is not good, I think.  But we can enjoy enough.  We understand what is bad points this time, so we can play better live show.  After live show, of course we drink!!  This is the happiest time!!  No better beer exists in this world than beer after having accomplished something.  Daily life has come after this Golden Week.  I refreshed through this Golden Week, so I just think of what should I do and my future, and do it!!

Cigarette only makes much bad effects on everybody’s health.  Of course, cigarette destructs the health of smokers.  It is easier for smokers to be cancer than non-smokers.  And smokers feel more tired because of cigarette’s smoke.  Cigarette gives us many poisons, but it is no medicine.  It gives us no good effects.  Then, the smoke of cigarette makes these bad effects on even non-smokers.  I think this is so bad point of cigarette.  Most of cigarette advertising hide these bad points.  They say that you can refresh with this cigarette.  So people think that cigarette is not so bad for health.  Smokers whose manner is bad smoke walking around and smoke where there is no ashtray.  Like this, we don’t need cigarette for our life at all, because it is the enemy of our health.

my golden week

        I haven’t decided the plan of golden week yet.  Every sunday and holiday I have no part-time job, so I’m completely free this golden week.  But the end of golden week, May 5th, is the day of live show of my band.  And it is the birthday of one of our guitarists.  So we will enjoy our live show so much, then we will hold drinking party till morning.

        On the other days, I want to play with my friends.  There are so many things that I want to play.  I want to drink much, go out to play, and talk much with my friends.  My local friends have many free time.  Maybe I can play all night long with them.  To tell the truth, I always worked every golden week.  Golden week was not special week for me.  But this year I changed my part-time job so I couldn’t enjoy golden week so many years.  I really look foward to playing on golden week.
